Reaching the unreached child and connecting them with education is the motto of Swa-Surajya. They are currently working in the form of community learning center while also running a full-fledged school.
Swa-Surajya’s focus area is children from Potraj Community. At CLC they have Daily 2 hour intervention with the students to provide a joyful place to study. They also work on foundational learning and creativity. At School : 360 degree quality improvement program(education, art, skill, sports) for a remote rural charitable school.
Garaj foundation work in Lakadganj and Dipty slums of Nagpur through community learning centers where work done with children education. They are also working with nomadic communities from urban slum where they are intervening with pre-primary and primary level kids for cognitive and academic development by creating happy space for them, by engaging them in experiential learning. They providing skills, health services, basic food for single parents child, education documents support etc. along with parents involvement.
Sadaya is strengthening Primary School, Foundational Literacy & Numeracy and sensitizing the parents on the importance of education in the core parts of Melghat, Maharashtra. Sadaya Foundation plans to support children through before and after school for their academic and non-academic growth; so that children are able to attain foundational learning at the right age , create a curiosity to gain their higher education and change individual, family and society. They are also working for the betterment of schools basic infrastructure and sensitizing parents about education and their children’s future of Korku tribe. They work on language barrier issue with childrens. developing korku-marathi carriculum.
Prarambh is a group of Youngster from Nagpur that utilizes existing human resource as a skills while guiding them to solve societal problems. A large number of street living classes are seen as inactive human resources for the work of the society and at the same time their children are also treated as the same. Prarambh have undertaken the work to make this human resource educated and active. Prarambh is working with street children from Lakadganj community in Nagpur.
The Maay Mati Foundation was established in the spirit of coming together to do a little work in honor of both the Mother who gave birth to us and the soil that sustains us. Apart from running projects for sustainability. They are running 2 programs for children from a nearby villages of Jalgaon. Chandobachi Shala of May Mati Foundationa aims to educate children while their Library program is spreading joy of reading aong children.
Ignorance, unemployment, poverty, drug addiction, gender discrimination, family voilense, child marriages, superstitions and migration are some serious problems in rural and tribal areas of Thane Distrcit. Due to indifference regarding the basic rights and duties; the government plan and development is not reaching to the people living in the utmost poverty. Yuva Sanskar Bahuddeshiya Sanstha was started with a vision to pay attention to the education and primary health care for the children living in tribal belt of Kalyan – Murbad. They believe that education is the only option for the overall development.
Sahara Sarvangin Vikas Sanstha strives to bring children from nomadic tribal communities, orphans, destitute as well as children of sugarcane cutters and brick kiln workers who cannot attend school due to financial conditions into the mainstream of education. We also visits Adivasi hamlets to convince parents about the importance of education. They are also in the process of making residential arrangements for these children.
